FAQ

How and when do I pay my HOA dues?

Monthly assessments are issued during the first five days of each month. You can make a secure payment through our online resident portal, via bank transfer, or by dropping off a check at the management office. These funds are vital for maintaining our green spaces, 24/7 security, and community-wide lighting.

Do I need approval for exterior changes to my home?

Yes. To maintain the visual harmony of West Port, any exterior modifications—such as painting, fencing, pergolas, or major renovations—must be reviewed by the Architectural Committee. Simply complete the "Modification Request" form and attach your plans. We aim to provide a response within 10 business days.

What are the hours and rules for the common areas?

Our recreational facilities, including the pool and courts, are open daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. For safety reasons, children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. As these areas belong to the entire community, please ensure the space is left clean and all trash is disposed of properly after your visit.

Where should my guests park?

Designated visitor parking areas are clearly marked throughout each sector of the community. For stays exceeding 24 hours or for social events with multiple vehicles, please request a temporary guest pass at the security gate. Please avoid parking on the street or in front of fire hydrants to ensure emergency vehicle access.

What is the community's pet policy?

West Port is a pet-friendly community, but we ask for your cooperation in following a few rules: all pets must be on a leash in common areas, and owners are required to pick up waste immediately (pet waste stations are located in our parks). We also appreciate your help in keeping noise levels controlled to respect your neighbors' peace.

How is trash collection and recycling handled?

General waste collection takes place every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning. Recycling materials are picked up exclusively on Thursdays. Please place your bins at the curb either the night before or early that morning, and ensure they are stored out of sight by the end of the day to keep our streets looking tidy.

Who should I contact in case of a community emergency?

For medical or fire emergencies, always dial 911 first. To report immediate community-related issues, such as a burst water main or a malfunction at the main gate, our 24/7 security and maintenance line is available at the number listed in the "Contact Us" section of this website.

How can I participate in Association meetings?

Your voice is essential! General meetings are held quarterly at the community hall and are announced two weeks in advance via email. If you cannot attend in person, we provide a Zoom link so you can listen to updates and submit your comments or questions in writing to the board.
